This White Crystal Alabaster Rose was created at my partner’s request and is the second in the pair she keeps. This was my second rose, for my sister, Tracy. A completely different strain of rose than I had done previously, it presented different inspirations. This was my first 3-d rose, for my partner, done in raw American alabaster. I look at it now and it seems thick and a bit clumsy. It’s life-size, and complete with a mahogany stem and alabaster thorn. Return to Roses
