These three rosebuds were my first experiment with freehand carving this type of pattern. There was no planning, no drawing of lines, involved. They are 1.75”-2” in length and 1”-1.5” in width on approximately 11” mahogany stems. The stones used are Black Chlorite, Translucent Alabaster and Domestic Alabaster.
